Copenhagen Stage Crew was formed in 2007 and has grown into one of Denmark’s leading crew companies. Today we are a proud member of the Global Crewing Association and we provide stagehands, event crew, production crew and technical crew for concerts, conferences, festivals and live productions across Copenhagen and Denmark, while creating fair and good terms for our crew members.
We are also a member of the Danish association Virksomhedsberedskabet and are ready to step up and contribute in case of a crisis.
History
Our Journey
2007
The Beginning
CSC was founded by Christoffer Cupello in 2007 while he was working as a stagehand and crewboss in Copenhagen. It started with a cell phone, a small notepad and a pen, with Cupello scribbling orders down and calling around to find hands, stage crew and event staff for the jobs.
2010
Expansion
While Cupello was touring in Denmark and internationally as a lighting technician, CSC grew slowly and started making a mark in Copenhagen, attracting more clients, stagehands, lighting crew, audio crew, video crew and technical crew members.
2014
Full Speed Ahead
With the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen as CSC’s biggest job to date, the company took a large leap and started the journey towards the data-driven, professional crew company of today.
2020
Innovation
An age of expansion of both client portfolio and crew members, where CSC undertook a long list of large-scale projects including concerts in Denmark’s national stadium Parken, massive conferences in Bella Center and productions in venues such as KB Hallen, Royal Arena, Tap1, The Plant, Lokomotiv Værkstedet, Forum, The Hangar and Royal Stage in Hillerød.
2026
Today
Today CSC is a professional, data-driven crew company with more than 300 skilled staff and 2000 events annually. We provide event crew, concert crew, stagehands, forklift operators, rigging hands, followspot operators, production crew and specialized technical crew for productions in Copenhagen, Denmark and beyond. We take pride in making sure both our clients and crew members are happy, and we strive to do better tomorrow than we did today. Every day.
